ISAAC PETKAC: Isaac is entering his 2nd season as the lead Play by Play voice of the Rockets for Football, Basketball, and Baseball, and his first as the Sports Director at the station. He is currently a Sophomore here at UT, majoring in Media Communications/ Sports Broadcasting. In addition to broadcasting for the station, Isaac calls games on ESPN3 and local television station BCSN for Rocket Softball, Baseball, Basketball and Volleyball, serving as a Play by Play commentator. Isaac also is serves as a public address announcer for UT Basketball. Prior to arriving at UT, Isaac called games for General Mclane High School at their newly formed radio station, which he helped to create. In addition, he is the PA announcer for numerous baseball tournaments around the Erie, PA area, including District, Regional, and State tournaments for baseball’s 12-14 and 13-16 age divisions as well as 17-18 year old senior legion baseball.  This season, Isaac will be teaming up with Erie News Now, a local sports station, to cover various NCAA and NFL events.

JAKE PLAGENS: Jake is in his second season as the lead color commentator for WXUT, occasionally stepping in as a Play by Play commentator. Jake is a Sophomore at UT with a major in Media Communications/Sports Broadcasting.  Jake has been on the call for many events, including both the 2017 MAC Football title game and 2018 Basketball games, as well as color on ESPN3 for Baseball and Volleyball. Jake is a graduate of North Royalton High School, where he currently serves as one of the PA announcers for varsity Boys and Girls Basketball when available. This fall, Jake began serving as an assistant sports director for WXUT and is back in the booth with Isaac as the broadcast team for Football and Basketball.

STEVEN BIEBER:  Steven is entering his Junior year at UT and his 3rd year as a broadcaster at WXUT.  Although he had no previous experience, Steven quickly became acclimated to life in the press box and joined on as a broadcaster for the station. This year, Steven will be calling games as part of WXUT Sports.
