I’m with you on the machete as being a much more desirable weapon than a hand gun and MREs as a source of food, side note I’ve found MREs as quite yummy contrary to popular belief. The only thing that threw me in this article is the hand-watch, namely because I think time would be irrelevant in a zompocalypse. It’s not like you have to get to WAl-Mart before they close. Just bust the window out and slice off the head of the old undead greeterman. The only occasion I could see a watch as being useful is when having to rendezvous with other survivors, again another highly unlikely scenario given you would NOT want to separate from the pack. The second issue I have is the DNA killing serum, which I’m trying to remember a good zombie movie that had any sort of cure. The only movie that comes to mind is Will Smith in “I am Legend” which was a bunch of poppycock that preached that science is bad and religion will save us all. The FDA hasn’t even figured out how to cure a viral infection like the flu, so I doubt the government would have the wherewithal to solve a zombie outbreak amidst the ensuing chaos, just look at the hurricane Katrina fiasco as proof of our leadership’s incompetence. Otherwise I enjoyed the article, kudos. Didn’t mean to get political there, maybe this question should be directed towards political candidates, ‘What would you do as president once confronted with a zombie outbreak”.

Damn Neil! WXUT is Toledo's ONLY “ALTERNATIVE” there should only be a 4 hr. block of “classic rock” a week! And, in my own personal opinion, (which is the only 1 I can have) that's 2 12 hours too many! there are several pro radio stations catering to those tastes. Go 2 the river

You know, Cam, there IS a fraternity that I read up on (I believe the info is still in your lower, left hand desk drawer) having to do with broadcasting or radio or some such thing, maybe we should start a chapter at UT.

Think of it: “Founder Camual Norton bestowed upon UT a communications fraternity so great that unworthy new recruits had to be fended off with semi-pointed sticks.”
