Senior Spotlight: Trip Floyd

“I have to leave this awesome place behind; the awesome memories made.”

Trip Floyd is another important 2026 WXUT senior. He is the Station Manager of WXUT with a show, Staff Meeting. He has bittersweet feelings about leaving WXUT, as he was one of the members to help the station bloom. He attributes WXUT to his confidence and his lifelong friendships. He is “eternally grateful for all the opportunities at WXUT”.

“Keep on pushing; trial and error. You know, face adversity head on.”

Trip is hoping to get employment in games presentations or production for a sports team.

Trip would like to thank Kevin Higginbotham, the entire exec board, Asa Kridelbaugh, Payton Schmitz, Tish Mays, Jess Delaney, John Eidemiller, and all of the communication faculty members.
