Autumn has been with WXUT since the Fall of 2023 but, only started her show this semester. Her show is called Office Hours and is on Thursdays from 8-10PM. While there is no “main premise” per se, Autumn loves to have a revolving group of guests and share with them the music she loves and just have a good time!

Her favorite part about working with WXUT, both as a radio show host and the Head Station Engineer, is the community that has been built. Autumn notes that watching WXUT grow even as much as it has in the last 3 years has been really rewarding and exciting and is just as thrilled to see where it goes this year as well.

She has no favorite genre to play but does have a soft spot for jazz or jazz-adjacent styles, with some electronic music mixed in as well. If that is your thing, you should definitely give her show a listen! Autumn does hope that one day she can talk about her love for classical music and its history. She specifically mentioned one of her favorites, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.

One of her favorite moments in working on Office Hours was getting to jam out to Casiopea, a jazz fusion band, because it brought such a fun and different energy compared to the usual vibe of the studio.
